Teresa is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing back in 1998 from Grand Canyon University. She then received her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a focus in nursing education in 2011 from Walden University, and Family Nurse Practitioner Degree in 2015 from Grand Canyon University. Teresa’s work history includes working as an emergency room nurse from 1998-2015. Additionally, she has served as adjunct faculty for the undergraduate nursing program at Grand Canyon University teaching pathophysiology as well as adult and pediatric trauma certification courses for the Emergency Nurses Association and Banner Health.
As a nurse practitioner, Teresa is trained in complex specialty wound care and transitional care. In her seven years as a nurse practitioner, she has also worked extensively as a primary care provider managing chronic conditions and medication management, and in wellness including specialized hormone optimization therapy.
Teresa resides in Chandler, AZ with her husband of 22 years, and is the mother of two sons and one daughter. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, and loves to travel.
